Companions auto transfer upon leaving an area
This would include recalling, hitting a portal, etc. Have them auto transfer so you get the exp when you leave an area. This would help mainly with when you recall or die and your companion is left behind. You can't summon anymore until he expires after X minutes. This probably wouldn't be a ground breaking amount of exp but would relieve the player of being penalized due to weird NPC stuff the companions sometimes do. Not sure how hard this would be to code. Recall could maybe be as easy as making the players auto say "Transfer" when they hit recall? Can be toggled on and off? Just throwing out some quality of life ideas.
Your wish is my command - almost.
New command /gctome (GC to Me)
When you use a portal or teleport scroll or recall, your GC will come with you if you have turned on the GC to me flag.
There are a large number of different types of teleports and I am not sure if I have got them all.
Let me know if you find one I have missed.

The Lord of Molten Rocks
Those few portals could probably be flagged easy enough to prevent that. Would have to be strongly considered which ones though.Zraaq wrote:Tulkas wrote:This is phenomenal!!!! Does this work with compulsions as well?
Would be very dangerous if this worked on compulsion. Some portals were installed to keep monsters from being lead to another area...
I was pleasantly surprised my GC followed me into the no magic area of Lab 5. I was unable to spell him even with the amulet....not a big deal for me at this point in time but is that something that will be a big deal at another part of the game by chance? not sure if the no magic and amulet scenario shows up later on.
My companion did NOT follow me through the portal into the bosses room. He has followed me everywhere else though.

I was doing the cave ammy quest and my gc did not teleport into the next room when I solved a riddle. I was too weak to fight on my own so I summoned a gargoyle. Someone that was with me came into the room shortly later while I was slowly inching the dwarve's life away with perma stun while the garg beat him up.
