So I got a laptop and want to logon to aranock with win 10. Don't wanna use dxwnd cause it looks weird fullscreen and I don't want a small window. What are my options at this point?

D3dwindower I think it's called is another alternative.. but I don't think fullscreen even works on that.
One of the 2 fixs that comes with it work very rarely on their own but sometimes, otherwise I don't know of any other option.
There is probably an option in dxwnd to make it look like normal fullscreen.

I use Virtual Box but you do need a disk with Windows XP too install.

Could always use VBox as LL said, but instead of windows xp install Ubuntu and wine. And load aranock with wine. Thats what I do but on OS X. Game runs very well in wine.

It's suprising if anyone can get it to run in win10 without the help of 3rd party software. Windows 8 & 10 do not support direct draw and windows 7 only emulated it. Something to do with ddraw being dx9 or lower I think.

There are two fix folders in the download pack to replace the DirectDraw software that is missing.
The folder that works depends on what graphics card you use.
They certainly work for Windows 8 but I do not have a Win 10 PC to try them on.

So not full screen and not a tiny window. Something like this? Mind you, my screen is 1920x1080 - 1080p.
