This was near the seyan shrine in mine 1. What the heck is it?

That clan pentagram has been there since as long as I can remember, even got told that it existed in original v2.

I think it was very early days when Ishtar was creating his version of clans.
Long before I was on the development team.

As far as I know it has never done anything and is just a part of archaeological history, or maybe even Myth.

There were 2 clans, gorn and kwai, a long time ago. You had to be in the right clan to use the unique gorn/kwai weapons, and back then you could activate them.
That pentagram (I think there were 2 spots) was related to those old clans.

Trip down memory lane. I completely forgot about that implementation, I think the weapon restriction was removed by the time I started though... I feel like that was almost pre-v2 with the funky graphics.
