Personal Quests are being added.

Provided that you meet the criteria for the quest, they can be triggered by one of 3 ways.
1) Automatically as soon as you login
2) When you talk to the quest giver
3) When you use a specific item

Criteria
1) Time - there will be a start time and end time and a duration within which the quest needs to be completed
2) Kindred - there may be kindred or gender restrictions
3) Ranks - there may be min/max rank restrictions

Type
1) Adhoc or periodic
2) Frequency (for Periodic) - daily, weekly, monthly annual
3) Repeatable - some quests can be repeated up to a set number of times per quest
4) Activity - use an item (X times), Kill an NPC (X times), Kill a player (X times)

Rewards may include:
1) Up to 3 different items
2) Experience
3) Luck

These quests will be introduced in a very simple manner initially but will gradually become more sophisticated (and rewarding) over time.

Player commands are
/pqlist
/pqarchive

You need to say "Quest" to a quest giver for they to start the quest for you.

The web site provides a list of all the currently active personal quests.

Personal Quests are given a Unique Identifier (PQID) to allow differentiation between quests with similar names.

The first Personal Quest is given by Olga (who lives directly south of the temple).
When you see her type "Quest".

It is a simple use some items to get a reward.
The details are posted on the website under "Live Game Information" and then under "Personal Quests".
