Game time resetting

Post by Drink »

Each Gmoon is 18hrs 40mins apart.

Using my Local timezone.
Had one yesterday (15th gmoon) at 5:20PM so next one would of been Noon today (1st gmoon)
Yet we noticed at about 1-2AM my time that it was now the 2nd ingame.
Seems the server reset to the 1st?

Have noticed gmoons been off-time but never really paid much attention to why, now looking at this seems it just resets randomly?

Occured again today
2:10PM AWST (GMT+ 8 )

Game changed to Snow / Winter.

Checked /time and its now the 2nd of the 1st month (year 302).

It should of been around the 19th-20th as the 15th Gmoon occured a few hours ago.
Reset Gmoon to another +16hrs :(

Caught it in the act!!

Image

When it ticked over from
23:59 on the 20th of the 11th month of year 333
it changed too
00:00 of the 2nd of the 1st month of the year 334

Was in Strange Forest when it happened, changed from Grass to Snow.

I noticed something like that ages ago, seemed to happen when the year ends. Seems december is a bit short, ingame.
But...can't have two of those in 2 days, so there might be more going on.

One potential issue is that the old Actonians may not have been that good at maths, or used a different version of mathematics to us mere mortals.

The Aranock month is made up of 28 days.
Tea Aranock year is made up of 300 days.
300/28=10.7 months in a year.

That may partially explain some of what you have observed.

I don't believe December exists, and Nov is cut short
